Curriculum Vitae

I am an Associate Professor of Social Statistics at the Department of Statistical Sciences, University of Padua. I am currently the Principal Investigator of the FIS3 (Italian Science Fund) project KINMATTER (€1.6 million), funded by the Ministry of University and Research, which builds on my previous MUR–NextGenerationEU project KinHealth.

Before joining the department, I was a postdoctoral fellow in Sociology and Social Demography at the University of Cologne, Collegio Carlo Alberto, and the London School of Economics and Political Science. I also worked as a research officer on the EU-funded FAMHEALTH project at LSE and served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Turin and the University of Bologna. I obtained my PhD in Sociology and Social Research from the University of Trento in 2016 and was a visiting researcher at the Swedish Institute for Social Research.

My research interests lie in several areas of social statistics, including intergenerational relations, family dynamics, the transition to adulthood, the consequences of marital disruption, ageing, and health inequalities.
