Curriculum Vitae

Renata Clerici graduated from Catholic University of Milan in Political Sciences; she is Associate Professor of Social Statistic at University of Padua, Department of Statistical Sciences. She has been teaching Demography and Statistics in the Faculties of Economics of Milan (S. Cuore) and Venice (Ca’ Foscari) and in the Faculties of Education and Statistical Sciences of University of Padova. Currently she is involved in teaching activities for the degree courses of SPIGI and FISPPA Departments.

Her research activity has concerned various issues: family and fertility, territorial mobility and population aging, the diffusion of statistical culture and the teaching of Statistics in primary school. At the moment, her research activity is focused on socio-educational issues: the evaluation of the quality of the didactics and professional outcomes of university programs, drop-outs and effectiveness of tutoring in higher education. These studies are performed using mixed methods approaches.

She is a member of the Italian Association for Population Studies (AISP), and of the Italian Statistical Society (SIS).
